Our Values

Respect - Whakaute is at the heart of our school culture. We emphasise the importance of showing respect to ourselves, each other, and our environment. This value is reflected in our interactions, whether it's in the classroom, on the playground, or in our community. We are proud to see our students practising Whakaute daily, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and heard.

At our school, we believe in the power of perseverance - Manawanui. This value teaches us to stay committed and resilient, even in the face of challenges. Our students are encouraged to embrace difficulties as opportunities for growth, developing a strong sense of determination that will serve them well throughout their lives. Recent classroom projects and sport activities have been excellent platforms for showcasing Manawanui, where students have demonstrated remarkable persistence and hard work.

Whakamana - Empowerment is about encouraging our students to take ownership of their learning and actions. We strive to empower our students by providing them with the tools and op0po9rtunities to express themselves, make informed decisions, and contribute meaningfully to society. Through various leadership roles and collaborative projects, our students are learning to lead with confidence and integrity.
