For those that do not know, or are new to school we have a committee for fundraising and pastoral care within our St Mary’s community, this is called St Mary’s FRIENDS (SMF), we help to organise and run various fundraisers.

SMF is a volunteer group of parents and others who support our St Mary’s School with fundraising efforts which in turn supports families with reduced or no costs.

SMF organises fundraising projects such as:

• Gala (alternating years)
• Making and selling cheese rolls (Term 2)
• School Discos
• Pizza Days
• Night Market (Term 4)

The money raised by SMF is spent on things that benefit our children – such as (but not limited to): 

• Reducing the cost of school camps.
• Reducing the cost of sports fees for families that need help.
• Support teachers for classes.
• Playground upgrades, IT equipment etc.
• Helping out families who need support for whatever reason (‘pastoral care’).
